Originally from Lexington Massachusetts, Ryan has been a New York-based actor for over a decade. Ryan fell in love with acting as an undergraduate, while studying English literature at Harvard University. After a few years performing in the New England region, he moved to New York to study at the Public Theater's Shakespeare Lab. He spent the following summer performing in Henry V in Shakespeare in the Park, before leaving to enter UC San Diego's acting MFA program.
Returning to New York after graduate school, Ryan has been busy working on a diverse array of projects. He's worked as an actor at theaters such as Manhattan Theater Club, The Roundabout Theater Company, The Public Theater and New Georges, and on TV most recently in 'Billions,' 'The Sinner,' and 'New Amsterdam.' Ryan made his proud Tribeca Film Festival debut in Domenica Cameron-Scorsese's film 'Almost Paris.'
